CCFA Holds Category Management Class for University Teachers

China Chain Store & Franchise Association held the second Teaching Staff Training Class on Category Management from January 25 to February 3 in Beijing, which 76 teachers and deans from 43 universities and colleges attended. They learned theories on franchise and chain store management during the day and visited physical stores in the evening. The class mainly focused on category managementís definition, its role, category assessment and category strategy and tactics.

They learned theories on franchise and chain store management during the day and visited physical stores in the evening. The class mainly focused on category managementís definition, its role, category assessment and category strategy and tactics.
During their visits to stores, each storekeeper gave them detailed explanation, which enabled them to have deeper understanding of relative theories. Participating teaching staff all said that they learned a lot from the class and some could be passed on to their students when back to campus.
